Sabrina The Teenage Witch #1 Exclusive
Sabrina The Teenage Witch #1 Santana Collectibles Exclusive
Sabrina the Teenage Witch #1 lands tomorrow, October 7, and it arrives with something Oni Press has never done before: an official early, midnight release for retailers. The issue opens an all-new line of Sabrina comics from Oni Press and Archie Comic Publications, first teased with an exclusive cover reveal in June. Between the standard covers, the store-commissioned exclusives, and the midnight timing, launch week is going to move fast.
Oni Press Confirms a First: A Midnight Release for Sabrina #1
Oni Press and Archie Comic Publications announced in June that Sabrina the Teenage Witch would return for an all-new line of comics in the fall. In mid-August, the publisher followed up with a detail that matters to anyone who chases launch day. Sabrina the Teenage Witch #1 is getting a midnight release, with retailers officially cleared for an early on-sale, and according to Oni Press this is the first time the publisher has given shops that green light. The street date is October 7, 2026.
In practice that means some shops will be selling copies before a normal morning open, and Oni described the date as shaping up to be one of the year's biggest release dates. Participation is a store-by-store decision rather than a blanket policy, so a phone call ahead of time is worth more than a guess.
Exclusives at Santana Collectibles
We are a small Wisconsin-based comic shop, and store exclusives are a big part of what we do. We commission our own variant covers for modern comics, usually working with cover artist Jesse Lundberg of Lundberg Graphics, with limited print runs.
We also run pre-orders for upcoming exclusives, sell live on Whatnot, keep an eBay store, and rent space at Toy Nexus in Darien, Wisconsin. When one of our exclusives goes live, it gets announced through those same channels and handled the same way every time: a set print run, a clear split between builds, and no mystery about what is in the box. If you are chasing Sabrina exclusives from other shops this week, the checklist below may come handy.
